These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Stride mobile application and Services. By using Stride, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Stride, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
• You have the capacity to enter a binding agreement

If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The Stride Service

Stride provides:

• AI-assisted running training and coaching
• Adaptive marathon and fitness training plans
• Activity challenges and campaigns
• Leaderboards and progress tracking
• Educational content on running, nutrition, mental strategies, and recovery

Stride does not provide medical advice. Always consult a physician before beginning any fitness program.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Use Stride safely and responsibly
• Consult a healthcare professional regarding injuries or medical concerns
• Not use the app while driving or in unsafe conditions
• Not misuse or manipulate challenge systems, leaderboards, or GPS data

You acknowledge that running involves risks, including injury or death, and you assume full responsibility.

4. AI Coach Disclaimers

Stride incorporates AI to generate training plans and recommendations. By using these features, you acknowledge:

• AI suggestions may not be perfect or suitable for every situation
• You must evaluate advice based on your personal health and conditions
• Training involves risks and individual results may vary
• AI output should not replace professional medical or athletic coaching

5. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining confidentiality of your login information
• All activity occurring under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraud or abuse
• Safety concerns
• Non-compliance with community rules

6. Payments and Subscriptions

If Stride introduces subscriptions or premium features:

• Pricing will be displayed clearly in the app
• Payments are processed via Apple or Google
• All purchases follow App Store and Play Store billing rules
• Refunds must be handled through Apple/Google unless local laws require otherwise

7. Intellectual Property

All content in Stride is owned by Stride or licensed to Stride, including:

• Designs, logos, trademarks
• Training plans and challenge systems
• AI-generated content provided as part of the service
• UI/UX, software code, backend logic

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the platform.

8. User-Generated Content

This includes:

• Messages to the coach
• Challenge notes
• Public leaderboard names or comments (if applicable)

By submitting content, you grant Stride a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content for providing and improving the Services.

You agree not to post harmful, offensive, or illegal material.

9. Third-Party Services

Stride may integrate with:

• Apple Health
• MapMyRun, Strava
• Other apps or devices as added in the future

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Stride is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the use of the app
• You assume all risks associated with training and physical activity
• Stride is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content or training plans
• Stride is not responsible for service interruptions or data loss

Your sole remedy is to discontinue using the app.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Stride harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the app
• Violations of these Terms
• Misrepresentation of your health or fitness condition

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for:

• Breach of Terms
• Fraudulent misuse
• Safety violations
• Legal or operational reasons

You may stop using the app at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of Malaysia.

14. Changes to Terms

Stride may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
